SC Data Inc. was founded in 1970 by then 25-year-old Diane S. Merritt, President of SC Data Inc. She has owned and operated the company for its 39 years of service. Having grown up alongside the Research Triangle Park from its inception, we understand the needs of local business better than any outside chain.

What started here in North Carolina as a means to bring the information age to a state that still based its economy in agriculture became the global center for research and development that is the pride of the south.

Still a local, family owned and operated business, SC Data, Inc. is proud of our hometown roots as we stay at the forefront of global technology. Our customers are our community - we dedicate ourselves to finding the right methods of collection and storage to suit the needs of each client. As those needs develop over time, SC Data continues to grow with our customers to meet 21st century demands.

Our managers have over twenty-five years of experience and our lead operators have earned five, ten, and fifteen year service awards. Individual contributions are recognized and valued and all share in our success. Experience, teamwork, and a desire to excel have made SC Data Inc. a leader in information processing.
